OK, the Sig 320 is an excellent choice; but I thought some Army General mentioned just buying Glocks (17 & 19, etc.) off the shelf?

You can fool all of the people some of the time, and some of the people all of the time...and those are pretty good odds.

Re: Army chooses Sig for new modular handgun
Do we know which SIG is their “modular handgun system”? Is it a P250 or P320?

Re: Army chooses Sig for new modular handgun
It's taken them long enough, but I think the Sig 320 was the best decision and it will be made in the US. I chose the Walther PPQ over the P320 because I liked the trigger a little better, but for our military, the P320 was the right choice. I'm just glad they didn't bow to pressure from Glock and hope they will continue not to do so. Never the less, I guarantee Glock will sue for an injunction so they can appeal the whole thing which will slow the military even more. It will be a jerk thing to do, but you know they will do it. They will slow implementation which could cost US lives.
