WSJ 3 Nov. 2021 on 2nd Amendment Case

Stephan Holbrook's " When is a Constitutional Right Not a Right?

Article captures succinctly the issue of "When you need official approval
to exercise it [ Constitutional Right]. That's what New York's pistol-permit law does.

Case in point was after 1865 a racist based licensing of firearms in Mississippi was instituted.
NY and 6 other states require justification to exercise a Constitutional Right.

The US Supreme Court is hearing this critical case.

A corollary is the racist ATF $200.00
poll tax
for every suppressor purchase similarly abrogates a 2nd Amendment Constitutional Right.
Many times Democrat/Socialists have even tried to push taxing each bullet sold for
similar stifling of The Right.

Previous clear heads at ATF advocated for removing inert-benign-hearing_protection suppressors
from the NFA restriction as this is an obvious infringement.

Suppressors should be obtainable at time of purchase as are regular firearms
with quick a background check. No 9+ month delays. No $200.00 tax.

When Supreme Court decision is handed down in line with Heller strong legal
advocates must push then to include free access to health saving suppressors.

The Marines as usual are ahead of the curve:

"Marine Corps to start widespread distribution of suppressors
....reduce hearing loss... A lesson we cannot afford to forget:
preventing tools hearing loss... etc."

Dick Culver is smiling from the front gates of Valhalla as he advocated this
in 1970s having had real world experience in Force Recon in a past 'unpleasantness'.

RIP, my friend.
