KAC "bowed" trigger guard

Post by SCL »

Gents,
Does anyone have a line on where I can find these in stock? Its the bowed/curved that they put on the new SR15 match guns. I have one on my SR15 and it rocks - now I want a few for my SR25 and Colt AR's. OPeration Parts has them out of stock - anyone know another source of supply?

I really like them because of the 'unusal' factor, not to mention the way they look!

JP223,

Just go to the KAC web site and in the merchandise section, under “New Products" it's listed there and in stock. Just save me one... :D

I can't decide between the one you guys are showing and what I'm assuming is the "teardrop" trigger guard shown here:

In my honest opinion, it would depend on how you are building that lower. I love the way the "bowed" one looks on longer guns (like SPR's, M16A4, etc), where-as the "teardrop" on shorter guns (Mk18, etc) is complete sex.

Seeing as how I said I was going to use the same one as i did on my SPR, it'll give you a general idea as to what i'm planning on, build-wise, lol.

Also, Op parts now has 15 in stock, if you were wanting to grab some. I guess they updated their inventory.

The one that dips down to a "point" is fugly IMO. I prefer the E3's trigger guard. I like the Magpul, if only for the continuation of the magazine well angle further back. It's a lot more aesthetically pleasing than the standard guard.

Personally and honestly, it's from an aesthetic point of view. Functionality-wise, it's no different than the Magpul or any other out there (for my uses) as my gloved fingers fit in either just fine. It's the standard "straight line" trigger guards that my larger gloved-fingers have a problem with at times.

I like mine because in WI I have to wear heavy gloves sometimes and a slight bow like the magpul in not enough room.

SO far I like it better then my LWRC. More compact since I can fold the stock.

New updated pics.
