Form 1 parts help, im new please forgive me.

Yes, it can be legal to make a silencer. For everything Form-1, from silencer designs that are easily made, to filing forms with the BATF, to 3D modeling. Remember, you must have an approved BATF Form-1 to make a silencer. All NFA laws apply.

Form 1 parts help, im new please forgive me.

Post by Pro2ajuggalo »

Hey guys I just got my form 1 in and now I need to get a QD setup for it. It's 1.5w 1.375x24 tpi. Now I'm trying to read up on what fits and what doesn't, but I would like to get possibly a ASR setup for it, is there any parts you guys recommend? YHM, Griffin, any help is appreciated.

Q Plan B "Omega" size and a Q cherry bomb muzzle brake is what I used on my rifle stuff. Lots of other options, but my ARs are either SBR or 16" so a cherry bomb is fine. Can't do that if you have a 14.5" non-SBR.

Ok great I just wanted to make sure before buying the wrong parts. Now can most fit as long as the thread pitch is the same size or does the tube width make a difference too? I was trying to respond earlier but for some reason I had to reset my password. Thanks again for the info, I'll try to research a little more so I don't have to bother people, I just see the forums aren't as great as they used to be.

It sounds like you're asking do both inner diameter & thread pitch have to match? Yes. 1.375x24 tpi you will find a lot of common ground there. The OD doesn't matter.
