Advice on first silencer

General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

Advice on first silencer

New guy here. Considering the purchase of a silencer (it would be my first) for a newly acquired Ruger Mark IV Tactical. I've owned and shot many firearms for many decades, but never owned a silencer. They seem like fun. Question: in looking at the various ways to purchase a silencer I've come across Silencer Central among others and the description of their service looks attractive. Any opinions?
