Sorry folks, just able to get the paperwork done today and took custody of my first can.... So I have a couple simple questions and I believe that I landed in the correct place to get some info

It's the 'Naughty 9' from Witt Tool & Machine outta TX. What do the small symmetrically opposed holes on the backside of the thing do for me? I took a small plastic stem from one of my lint-free swabs and touched the inside of the things, it's solid metal. Are they simply for heat dissipation?
