I was thinking about this the other day, but yeah, I've got quite a few guns I need to get first.

Looks like Roberts old hobby is coming back.
CSI NY did a whole episode on him.

You should sue them for defacement of character.rsilvers wrote:No. They appear to have snooped around on my website and used the info to make the character as much like me as they could get away with.
Portraying you as a super intelligent, steely-eyed eccentric with unique interests? How dare they misrepresent you!

I occasionally tip-toe around actually teasing Robert, but I would never truly mess with him. He's got that crazy look about him.
My wife and I LOVE to shoot our bows in the back yard. She has a nice Browning Micro Midas and I have an old Jennings somehow has grown on me. Bowhunting is the only way to get any kind of decent deer season around here so I do it as much as possible.

Why not? Archery is indeed low noise weaponry.Braidon wrote:Archery Section?? Seriously???
So Rob, you are an MIT man? How long ago were you there? I ask because I'm wondering if you may remember my grandfather who was a professor there. Glenn C Williams, he was a chemical engineer.

Hey, you were int the ARMY... did you know "insert some name here"
Used to drive me nuts.
I got a bow kind of like that.. I used to shoot 5 spot target archery. Hoyt Pro Medalist. (dates me) set up for Beeman Carbon fiber arrows.
Also, a Hoyt Pro Hunter set up for AL hunting arrows. I took lessens from Eric Hall in Hartford. He was AMAZING!
He was better with a bow than I was with a rifle offhand.
Watching Eric shoot for 20 minutes is what got me interested in taking target archery up. When he knew I was a competitive target shooter he said it would be very similar and I should take to it easily. Once I figured it out it was a hoot.

Long distance, the next best thing to being there!
