Remembrance of Ray Brandes

General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

Remembrance of Ray Brandes

Post by Historian »

Raymond Brandes Obituary of Panama City, Florida passed away on December 18, 2021 at the age of 73.

Ray was the craftsman who made the Bully Barrel* for the S&W 41 ... Threaded so that '41 owners
could avail themselves of 'quiet devices' without having to destroy original barrel.
Its 1:8 twist allowed shooting the Aguilar 65 grain .22 even.

The accuracy gave even a tighter group that original 1965 5.5" target barrel.

He was a most magnanimous and charming gentleman.
May he sit next to Odin in Vallhala.

Bless you old friend.
